Drawbacks?
Global keybindings do not work and Gnote no longer moves windows between workspaces. You can setup global keybindings in Gnome Control Center, there are command line options you can use.
To get entirely old Gnote, pass --with-x11-support option to configure.
GNote 3.8.1 under Fedora 19 doesn't show(display) the full content of a existing note. The upper part is cut· Not possible to scroll up. Only copying the note fully to the clipboard enables accessing it fully.
